The beach is a 15-20 minute walk from the cottage. The complex has it's own access road directly onto the beach. Filey is a 30 minute walk to the left. Always check tide times before setting out.

Scarborough is divided into two bays - North Bay and South Bay - by the Castle Headland. The North Bay has fun parks, with attractions like Peasholm Park, Miniature North Bay Railway, Scarborough Sea Life Centre and The Sand's development. The South Bay is where the harbour and commercial premises are located. The cafes, restaurants, amusement arcades and shops are a great attraction and source of holiday enjoyment. For more gentle pastimes, Scarborough also boasts superb parks and gardens, a stroll along cliff tops or boating on local lakes or the sea.
Please note the complex is still under construction and there is building work going on. The site is fully fenced and safe though some noise is present between 8am and 5pm on weekdays. There is no building noise at the weekends.
The pub on the site is now open. Food is available all day. Entertainment at the weekend.
The gym and swimming pool are now open. The pool is free for guests to use. There is a small fee for use of the gym. Ther are planned activities in the pool for a small fee.
